It's a good place and the kids art area is fab, but every time you take children around to look at the art pieces the staff have mini heart attacks (they don't touch the stuff or go near them)

An architecturally interesting building with friendly helpful staff and a surprisingly broad range of exhibits from ancient Greek and Egyptian to contemporary art. Its crowning glory is its Jacob Epstein collection which is stunning a lot of pieces of great quality. Well worth spending a couple of hours in.

Don't expect too much - it's not the National Gallery, but very good for a small town Art Gallery. Worth a visit and there are lots of shops, resturants and a cinema nearby.

Small but perfectly formed. ☺️ A gallery that spans three floors, the third floor dedicated to a special exhibition which is free, donations appreciated. Below is a bequest from a local art collector. A wonderful eclectic cross section of art and artefacts spanning thousands of years. Easy to access from Walsall station, but don't exit via the shopping centre you can leave by the back way and save your feet for the gallery.

If councillors try to restrict opening times or shut it down they should be hung from lamposts.
This is a marvelous place.

Ignored by many in the local community the gallery is a beacon of art and culture. Innovative exhibitions are built around important national art, encouragement of new talent both local and national plus engaging activities that introduce children and young people to art.
There is always something worth seeing and the 'on floor' staff are always helpfull.

Pleasant gallery to visit, have art and activities for children to do during the tour. Children loved the different things and the visit. Had coffee at Costa afterwards that is just in the reception area of the gallery which was a nice finish to the tour. Only issue is there is no car park as it is in the town centre. Nearest place we could find was crown wharf shopping centre. But overall nice visit.
