Very good visit to the New Art Gallery Walsall. It has a lot going for it. There are 4 floors showing a combination of temporary and permanent exhibitions. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings so that the artwork isn't cramped giving visitors a chance to reflect and appreciate. Staff are very friendly. The gallery is within a short walking distance from public transport. Not far from eateries on the wharf. Good place to spend an afternoon.

An interesting gallery that has quite a few peices on show from many different styles Inc classic al up to more modern art.

It's clean, spacious and having a Costa attached is a good bonus for a tea or coffee after you've had a good look round.

It's free entry and can easily spend either 10 minutes or a good hour looking at all it has to offer. It's well worth taking a look inside at least once. And the shop has some good books, art supplies, collectibles for sale as well as some nice purses and handbags.

A local treasure, with kind, friendly staff who were happy to help out with my son's school project. It's had some notable artists exhibiting here over the years, and it's a very welcoming, child-friendly environment.

Easy to access for wheelchair users, spacious lifts which look out onto the canal.
The gallery areas do not have automatic doors so you'll need someone to hold tgem open. The displays are easy to get round and positioned at different heights.
The children's activity for Wednesday this half term was rather full when we attended so we didn't participate.
It's lovely to be able to engage children in the art displays and have a local art gallery.
