TR Music is an independent, family run Music equipment and instrument retailer based in Walsall town centre. The shop first opened its doors on Stafford Street in 1981 and then in 1991, TR Music moved a few doors down to the larger premises that it still inhabits to this day.

As one of Walsall's only general music stores, TR Music offers a fantastic range of products including:

Friendly Team

The business is owned and run by Mike and Anne, and in recent times they have been joined by their Son James. Terry,  Rob and Ken make up the rest of the staff, each bringing huge amounts of experience to their roles, making for a versatile and helpful team.

Extensive Range

TR Music is set across two floors where you will find Guitars, Bass, Drums, Ukuleles, and range of beginner brass and woodwind instruments. The instruments are also joined by a large range of PA and disco equipment.

There is also a smaller shop next door where you will find a large range of music books, karaoke tracks and violins. TR also has a good range of pre-owned equipment for those looking for a bargain, and welcome part exchange. TR can also help you with a variety of repairs, specialising in (but not limited to!) guitars, speakers and amplifiers.

The shop prides itself on the amount of stock it carries, and although it may get cramped in store at times, customers come from far and wide just to browse through a mixture of brand new, b stock, pre-owned and restored goods.

Innovative

In recent years TR music has had to adapt to the challenges posed by internet based companies selling at rock bottom prices. The response to this has been to concentrate resources on serving the local people, keeping the shop well stocked with well priced and interesting items ready to demonstrate by expert staff.

TR Music is easy to get to, and benefits from its own car park as-well as ample paid on road parking and a few large public car parks within easy walking distance.
