I've grown up with this park since 1976, and it has improved in all areas. The cross population facilities are quite excellent, its far cleaner than 1980, its wonderful to walk my dog here.
Its mellow and friendly, there are different zones for dog walking, fantastic for kids and families. Lots of space for football.

As public spaces go, it is a good park. But the childrens play area is a little old now with less for kids to do than quite a few other parks in the walsall area. The splash park is good, but not amazing. The reasonably newly built visitor centre has never quite reached its potential, the cafe is ok if a little overpriced (then again which parks aren't?)
