Shame they don't have any public toilets. I don't mind paying £0.50-£1 to use toilet. Otherwise park itself is very nice

Large town centre park with sizable lake inhabited by various waterfowl. There are beautifully manicured gardens, less cultivated areas of trees, a visitors' centre with a café and loos, picnic areas with tables, or you can even take your own barbecue if you follow the guidelines that are posted. Great place to walk, run, take the kiddies, the dog and just enjoy the ambience.

My Son and daughter in law had their Wedding photos taken here, lovely scenic park. It was a Saturday lunchtime, and even though there were plenty of people around, it was quiet.

Lovely place to have a relaxing walk, just outside the town centre. Worth going to the visitors centre with reasonably priced drinks and snacks. You can also buy food to feed the ducks, which is great fun especially for the kids!!

Lovely local well kept park with plenty of free park, since my last visit many years ago, it has had alot of investment, the old tea hut has gone and new buildings with various facilities in place now, plenty of amusements for children and gym equipment throughout the park. Well worth a visit

Very well kept park and you can easily venture off along the canal or into the nature reserve if you want a longer route. I much prefer it to my home town West Park.
