Building on the success of previous MakerFest events, Walsall Council is helping bring the borough’s creative spirit to life once again as performers and activities are announced for this year’s free festival.
A community service which supports residents of all ages with loneliness and isolation has relaunched in Walsall.
September 2026: AccessAbility Arts CIC is inviting people of all abilities to get creative in the great outdoors as Poetry in the Park returns to Walsall Arboretum on Sunday 13th September 2026, from 1pm until 3pm.

Bookings are now open for Heritage Open Days, taking place across Walsall this September, offering residents the chance to explore the borough’s rich cultural history and heritage. All events are free to attend.
AccessAbility Arts CIC is returning to Caldmore Community Garden for a second EcoPoetree & Creative Arts Workshop, bringing together nature, poetry, visual art and community creativity in an accessible and welcoming outdoor setting.
