An estimated 54,000 filled Walsall town centre on Saturday for the return of Walsall MakerFest, a free one-day festival dedicated to celebrating making, creativity and local talent.
Walsall Council marked Book Club Day UK on Thursday 11 September 2025, an annual celebration created by The Reading Agency to highlight the joy and benefits of reading together.
Get ready for a day of creativity, performance, and hands-on fun, as Walsall MakerFest 2025 is set to transform the town centre into a spectacular free festival of making, movement, and imagination on Saturday, 13 September 2025.
The passport is a free activity booklet packed full of fun, educational challenges aimed at families with children aged 0-5. Since 11 July, parents have been able to collect their passport from libraries and Family Hubs across Walsall
