The ladies run an after-school club for children aged from 4 years to 16 years. The children have something to eat, play and are encouraged to do their homework prior to being picked up by their parents.

Our children are our future and such they need to be supported in every way to have a healthy, happy lifestyle to enable them to make informed choices as they go forward in their life journey.

Their volunteering service was recognised by Madeleine Holland, who sadly could not be present on the day.

Balbir said, "It was truly a pleasure to present Certificate of Appreciation to the enthusiastic, dedicated and amazing volunteers who are making a difference in their locality. They commit their valuable time to serve and enrich the community spirit."

This is even more crucial in the current climate. With their efforts, the community are able to enjoy activities at Green Rivers Community Association in Bloxwich managed by Caroline Crolley.

Balbir added, "They commit their valuable time to serve and enrich the community spirit. With their efforts, the community are able to enjoy activities at Green Rivers Community Association in Bloxwich."

Appreciation Awards presented to Nicola Watts, Nicola Jewkes and Jean Peace, who was not able to attend, her certificate was collected by her partner.
