Following their two previous wins earlier in the week, Walsall disappointed their fans with a 0-1 defeat at home to Brentford. The Saddlers had no idea in the first half and fell behind to a Clayton Donaldson header which turned out to be the matchwinner.The second half saw a big improvement and Ryan Jarvis hit the post. Had that gone in Saddlers may have had the desire to go on and win the game.
Alex Nicholls revealed in the press after the game that thee was quite a heated argument in the dressing room after the game. Good! I hope everyone had their say as the manager and the fans deserve a better performance than that. So there's a chance at Notts County on Saturday for the players to show they can bounce back.
