Caldmore Community Gardens are supporting the Mayor Walsall's Appeal and made a generous donation to Councillor Rose Burley Mayor Walsall of £720.

The Mayor Walsall ‘s Appeal is the following three charities;

1. Phoenix French Bull Dog Rescue,

2. Alzheimer’s Society, and

3. Walsall Foster Carers Association.

Ian Henery of Ian Henery Solicitors is Mayor of Walsall’s Poet Laureate and has also agreed to support the Mayor Walsall with legal services in exchange for generous donations to the Mayor Walsall Appeal.

Caldmore Village Festival Ltd is one of the charities that approached Ian Henery and his team, asking for help with reviewing their employment policies and contracts. Caldmore Village Festival have made a donation of £720 to the Mayor’s Appeal in thanks for the help they received and have presented the cheque to the Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Rose Burley, at Ian Henery Solicitors offices in Willenhall.

Mohammed Arif, Chair of Caldmore Village Festival, said: “We appreciate hugely the expert advice from Ian Henery Solicitors, whilst also having an opportunity to contribute to the good causes of the Mayor’s Appeal”.

Caldmore Village Festival Ltd is well known in the Walsall community for its Cultures of Walsall Festival. This year’s edition will happen in Palfrey Park during the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4th June.

The charity is also recognised for the range of community events organised at its main venue - Caldmore Community Garden. This Saturday, the 19th of March, the Garden will host its first event of the year.  The Spring Family Picnic will have free children’s activities, arts and crafts, face-painting, a spring treasure hunt, home-made cakes, and many more. The event will start at 12 and finish at 4pm - everyone is welcome!
