As part of this years St George's Day celebrations, Walsall will host its first Town Centre Parade.
The plans for St George's Day Parade, April 24th, have now been finalised and it is set to be a great event with separate council-run events also taking place.
Scouts and Cadets will be joined by Royal British Legion branches to start the march at 10.30am from Asda, Digbeth. They will escort the flag of St George along Park Street, before finishing outside the New Art Gallery.
To celebrate the day Walsall market traders will put flags above stalls and there will be street theatre in the town centre. There will also be a display of British cars and motorcycles outside the art gallery.
Join in the celebrations by visiting Swinnertons for all your St George's Day decorations including flags, bunting, wigs and face paints.
