The "Christmas by Candlelight" Carol concert, organised by the Rotary Club of
Willenhall in association with the Parish Church of St. Giles, Walsall Street,
Wilenhall, WV13 9ER will once again be taking place at Christmas this year.
The concert, now in its 15th year in succession, will be on Friday, December 13,
in the Parish Church, beginning at 7 p.m..
Performing this year will be the Singing Club from the St.Giles Church of England
Primary School, the St. Giles Church Sunday 'Cool' Group and the popular and
very accomplished locally based Ashmore Park Choir.
Tickets for the event are still priced at only £4 which includes a programme,
tea/coffee and light refreshments. The tickets can be purchased on the evening
at the main entrance of the Church.
There is ample free parking on the Old Wakes Ground car park in Walsall Street,
Willenhall less than 100 yards from the main entrance to the Church.
This year's Rotary Club President, Diane Sims says,"The Christmas Carol Concert
is always well supported by our local community and it brings people together
at this very special time of the year. It is lovely to see St. Giles Church full. For
those who have not experienced the wonderful atmosphere of the Carol Concert
we urge you to come and join us. It really is a great annual occasion."
