West Midlands vending supplier Coinadrink Limited has always recognised the importance of communities pulling together during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, as we battle to find way through this dreadful ordeal that has affected so many people and businesses.
Working with Hampers for Heroes, a non-profit organisation set up in the wake of Covid-19, we have once again showed our support to the wonderful NHS workers on the front line operating within the ICU departments, through the donation of refreshment supplies.
It was a pleasure to support such an excellent organisation in their ongoing quest to show our collective gratitude to the ICU staff in hospitals across the West Midlands. Victoria Hanson from Hampers for Heroes reached out to local businesses and individuals for donations of refreshments and supplies. These include, but we're not limited to, hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks, water and toiletries.
Coinadrink partnered with Walsall based and fellow Best of Walsall members Drain Doctor Plumbing to assist those battling on the front line, with both companies making donations to the value of £150 each. We provided tea and coffee supplies capable of making around 2500 drinks, whilst Drain Doctor Plumbing kindly provided 10 boxes of 100 biscuits.
Together and alongside a huge number of local organisations and individuals, we are making sure that the brave and selfless ICU staff have access to a variety of essential items that will hopefully provide a welcome source of relief from their exhausting daily duties.
A big thank you to Victoria Hanson of Hampers for Heroes and Richard Scandrett of Drain Doctor Plumbing for helping us to help our NHS. It’s fantastic to see the local community once again pulling together on such a wonderful project.
