The Royal Mail piloting a scheme that would allow for shoppers to recieve their orders on Sundays. They are currently planning to test the service on a range of areas and see what response they get; the majority of delivery tests being around london and surrounding areas.
Many customers elsewhere will find themselves able to pick up parcels from around 100 Royal Mail offices from this weekend onwards. The offices will be open for 4 hours from noon on Sundays.
Managing director Nick Landon has told the press that the Royal Mail is "continuing to be more customer-responsive and provide more options for people to recieve items they have ordered online.
