An exciting new project in Walsall could take up to 18 months to complete.
The development of the new £400,000 country park is set to take longer than first hoped however when completed the replacement of Walsall’s only municipal golf course will become a great visitor attraction for the people of Walsall to be proud of. The park which will include horse riding, picnic areas and cycling routes will replace The Grange golf course which closed last January due to council cuts.
Walsall Council agreed on the plans for this project less than a month ago but work is not expected to be completed until the middle of 2012. It is hoped that the completion will fit in will the current transformation of the borough’s premier park.
