On September 01st friends, neighbours and colleagues of Walsall man, Dave Plant, came together to help raise funds to find a cure for people like Dave who is living with MND.
With over 45 donated raffle prizes alone, as well as a bake sale, tombola, toys, book and craft stalls, bric-a-brac and even the weather behaved itself.
Dave's wife, Anne Marie, said that the response was fantastic and they have raised over £4,500 which was way beyond their expectations.
