Woodside Close wanted to be part of the celebration to say "Thank you" The weather was kind for a few hours, but cold.
The residents were overjoyed that Deputy Mayor Christopher Towe accepted to join their street party for an hour. He chatted to all the residents who came out, forging new friendships.
Charles was delighted to share his memories of Walsall with the Mayor.
Two years ago, Woodside Close successfully celebrated. It was great to meet the neighbours new and old, to chat and eat together albeit on our own driveways. Isabel, 3 years old, shared with her class "we had a picnic on the pavement.."
The Platinum Jubilee will also leave lasting positive, beautiful memories for Isabel and everyone.
The Duke of Cambridge, prince William says, "the pressing need to protect and restore our planet has never been more urgent.
"Together, if we harness the very best of humankind and restore our planet, we will protect it for future generations to come."
This is hope for grandchildren's future and a legacy for them to carry forward. Thank you Ma'am for your selfless service.
