Free Childcare in Walsall for eligible 2 year olds

Is your family eligible for a free childcare place?

Is your child 2 or going to be in the next few months?

Time2Start is a scheme launched by Walsall Council and Walsall FIS (Families Information Service) that offers free childcare for eligible 2 year olds

You may qualify if you receive any of the following benefits:

  • Income Support
  • Income-Based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment Allowance
  • Child Tax Credit with an annual income of less than £16,190
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • The Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit

If you think your family is eligible please contact Walsall FIS on 01922 653383 or walsallfis@edu.walsall.gov.uk

They will need:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Date of Birth
  • National Insurance Number
  • Details of your child

Recommended nurseries that accept these Time 2 Start vouchers include ABC Day Nursery in Willenhall, Adventureland in Aldridge and Beeches Day Nursery
