Jennifer Carless, the Chief International WASUP (World Against Single Use Plastic) Ambassador was invited to the Imperial College London to receive a certificate for her entry to the Global Science challenge on climate change. Her topic was – ‘Provide evidence that the change in climate is the result of human actions. She absolutely ‘smashed’ this in a video presentation.
The head judge was the legendary Professor Lord Robert Winston seen here with Jennifer. He has invited Jennifer to come to the House of Lords in May.
In the meantime, she is sponsored by the founder of WASUP – Prof A R Gatrad OBE to travel to Pakistan and launch his book for primary schools that has been translated into Urdu. She will make many presentations on the scourge of plastic and raise awareness of the dangers of climate change.
