In a new initiative by Walsall Council, households are being encouraged to sign up to Walsall's Big Community Switch, which could help them to save money on the cost of heating their home
The scheme works by residents coming together to form a single powerful buying unit - this could lead to cheaper energy bills for every household that signs up
It is easy and FREE to registers and only takes a couple of minutes! This registration doesn't commit you to switch supplier

Residents who would like to sign up using the Council's telephone registration service can do so by calling 01922 652500 on Monday to Thursday from 8.45am to 5.15pm and Friday from 8.45am to 4.45pm.
Registration is available to all householders who own, rent or have a pre-payment meter.
Residents can also switch with debts of up to £500 on their pre-payment meter with their current supplier.
Once you have registered your interest, the council will go to auction along with other councils across the country to see which energy company will offer the best tariff. The deadline to register for this auction is 9 June 2014.
