Few people know Caldmore, Walsall has a branch of LIFE CHARITY on 23 Glebe Street, Walsall WS1 3NX which provides everything a pregnant mum could need. Ann, Janet and Julie are volunteers who help counsel women through crisis pregnancies at the centre, and they collect donations and purchase much needed equipment for these women.
The centre is open to women of all backgrounds and religions, and provides prams, pushchairs, travel systems (car seats and pram sets), toys, books, moses baskets, nappies and baby clothes as well as pregnancy advice.
The volunteers also counsel women who have had abortions.
The centre is usually open on Fridays between 9am to 12noon. Please call 01922 611255 for an appointment although you are just as welcome to walk in.
