On Tuesday 26th April St Mowden Builders issued the first images of their upcoming redevelopment of Walsall's very own St Matthews Quarter.
As demolitions have already begun, locals were keen to seen exactly what the redevelopment would look like and we're sure they won't be disappointed!
The highly anticipated retail and leisure development is expected to be completed sometime in 2017 and will feature an array of modern shopfronts and outdoor leisure and eating areas.
Poundland and B&M have signed agreements for stores to open next Spring.
Councillor Adrian Andrew, deputy leader of Walsall Council said:
"It’s been worth the wait for this next step in Walsall’s regeneration to take place. It’s great these derelict buildings will be replaced by retail units to create jobs for local people."
