The Birmingham Boys and Girls Union is a local children's charity and it was founded in 1906, trading  as Woodlands Adventure & Outdoor Learning.  We are located on the borders of Streetly and Aldridge, set in 36 acres of natural woodland, hidden away within the West Midlands.   

We offer a comprehensive range of great activities and fantastic facilities at Woodlands Adventure & Outdoor Learning, from half and full day visits to residential visits and camping visits.  Each visit is complimented with fully instructed adventurous activities, based on site and instructed by fully qualified, first aid trained and enhanced DBS checked staff.

Residential Visits for groups with a minimum of 30 people.  Modern, clean, central heated, self-catering residential facilities, Sleeping up to 64 children and 8 leaders.  Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need, including a dishwasher. Large hall with projector, screen and a selection of games, packaged with a choice of activities for overnight, weekend, half week or full week stays.

Camping Visits for groups with a minimum of 12 people. Our camping field includes the use of a stretch tent, picnic benches and tables.  We have a new camping cabin, encompassing a fridge freezer, kettle, microwave and electric points as well as your own dedicated toilet, shower and changing facility in our newly built environmentally friendly building.

Day Visits for groups of 12 people or more.  A full day visit includes a choice or 4 fully instructed activities or you can choose one of our half days which includes 2 activities. These visits are ideal for a Birthday or just a fun day out!

Choose from a fantastic range of activities, assault course (with or without the mud run), choice of 2 zip lines, archery, raft building, canoeing, kayaking, vines & bridges, monkey tree climbing, climbing, abseiling, bush craft, nature days, tomahawk throwing, high ropes and much more.

We also have a special offer on at the moment, for a discounted price of £25.00 per child or £29.00 per adult, this includes 4 adventurous activities of your choice.  Booking for day visits are for a minimum group of 12 people, this offer runs from October the 31st until February the 29th 2020.
