Walsall Writers' Circle has been going strong since the year England won the world cup, A.K.A a very long time! It is a place for writers of essays, memoirs, biographies,  long fiction, short fiction, flash fiction, poetry, in fact, any type of writing, to come together and share ideas and receive support from other writers. Whether you've been writing a few years or are new to the game, please come along and join us.   We are a friendly bunch of writers who meet on the second Thursday each month (except August) at Walsall College Hub in room HS210 from 19:30pm - 21:30pm. There is free parking and to attend as a visitor costs just £2.00.   Our next meeting is on Thursday 9th May. There will be a talk on writing short and flash fiction by the wonderful Paul McDonald and it is also the hand in of the memoir competition entries on the theme ‘Where were you when…?’ Where were you when something momentous happened?  E.g. first man on the moon, JFK assassination, Obama’s election, etc! (competition open to members only).
