Gavin Freebairn a Willenhall business owner of That Cleaning Guy , together with Martin Cutler , Director of Wolfruna Chapter of the Harley Davidson owners club have recently organised a trip to Przemysi on the Polish and Ukraine border delivering Humanitarian Aid.
3 vans with 6 adults went on the trip taking invaluable supplies to Ukrainian Refugees.
Members of the public, friends, small business owners and also Salnsburys in Wombourne provided goods and Funds to purchase supplies.
These included nappies, baby wipes, baby clothes, sanitary products, cereal , food and water .
The 50 boxes of Cornflakes they took were met with tears of gratitude.
Gavin said the most heart breaking moment was seeing 5 minibuses of orphaned children, which were setting off to go to various cities in Europe to be resettled from the refuge camp.
Whilst Gavin wanted to thank all of those that contributed, we at The Best of Walsall would like to congratulate all involved on their kindness and generosity for this most worthwhile cause.
Gavin tells me that they are planning on going again in mid May but this time with a HGV.
