As a society, we often overlook the struggles that disabled individuals face when trying to obtain employment. However, one local entrepreneur from Walsall is working hard to change this narrative. Monty, who is disabled himself, is crowdfunding to build an office space where he can start employing more disabled individuals who struggle to obtain work.
Recently, Monty was featured on the BBC, where he spoke candidly about the challenges he has faced as a disabled entrepreneur, but also about the opportunities that his venture presents. He hopes that his initiative will spark a change in the way society views disabled individuals and create more opportunities for them.
Monty's vision is not only to employ individuals with disabilities but to eventually set up hubs throughout the country that promote inclusivity and create opportunities for those who have traditionally been left behind.
