One of the nine Walsall libraries that were closed due to cuts is set to reopen as a community-led book exchange from September 1st.
Pheasey Library, located on Collingwood Drive, will open its doors again thanks to committed volunteers and community leaders.
The book exchange service will initially run for two days a week with the potential for that to increase depending on its initial success.
There are two induction days that have been organised at the library for those willing to become a volunteer.
The first induction day will take place on August 22nd at 10am and the second will be on August 23rd at 6:30pm.
