Poetry night Yes We Cant kicks off the new year in style this Sunday evening (Jan 5th) when it returns to the Pretty Bricks with a fully sold-out show. The headline act is superstar poet Liz Berry. In 2014, her first collection ‘Black Country’ won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection, while the title poem of her pamphlet ‘The Republic of Motherhood’ won the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem in 2018.
Support comes from local poet Nick Pearson.
All money raised on the night will go to support the work of Black Country Women’s Aid.
