On July 20th, Wolverhampton poetry collective Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists will once again bring a team of poets from one of the home nations to take part in their Home & Away poetry night on Zoom. The evening is a game of two halves, each of 45 minutes, and features two teams of highly-trained poets. The first half will have sets from the three members of PPP, along with three cameo appearances from local rising stars. The second half will feature the combined talents of the ‘away’ team – Kevin McLean, Katie Ailes, and Bex Sherwood – who will be representing Scotland, have a string of honours to their name, and who are well worth hearing.

The three rising stars for the Midlands – each of whom will be making invaluable contributions to the night – are Sheryl McMahon, Lorraine Boyce, and Daniel Kay. It will be a pay-as-you-feel event. There will be no extra time, no penalties, and absolutely no VAR.

To join their audience, just send them an email. They’ll send out the Zoom link on the morning of the event.
