Shoppers haven't got much longer to wait before the new Primark store opens its doors for business, as it has been confirmed the store will be open for business from 10am on Thursday 6th of August.
After two years of construction work, the Walsall store will be the 289th established shop within the Primark franchise, and will form part of the redeveloped Old Square shopping centre in Walsall.
Walsall Council has committed nearly £7.8 million from its own funds in order to cover the overall costs of the project, and in turn the redevelopment has created nearly 170 new jobs within the community.
Breege O’Donoghue, group director of Primark, has said that the design and layout of the new store follows the latest format which will give it a modern look. The store will offer customers a full range of new fashion collections for women, men, children and will also feature accessories, shoes, jewellery and homeware.
