Formed in 2015 by Sean Flood and Adrian Shaw (AKA Doctor Teeth)

Sean and Adrian worked together in the late 1980’s and 1990’s in Birmingham based Cybernauts (who famously supported the Charlatans on their first gig at the late lamented Overstrand in Walsall) and Automatic Pope.  Adrian has also played in number other bands including Punk legends in their own lunchtime, Swaktang.

Re-united over a love of real ale and pinot grigio at the Fountain Inn, the band now features local muso Ross Davies on Bass, Steve Tatman on Lead Guitar and Chris “Heisenberg” Smith on Saxophone.

The band’s main focus is on original pop psych tunes and covers of some rather avant-garde songs from 1960’s and 70’s Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Doors, Bowie, Stranglers, Who,  with 1980’s Echo and the Bunnymen, Aztec Camera, right up to the present day with Lil’ Nas X and Liam Gallagher.  The band are not a “tribute” act and produce new rock orchestrations of famous songs such as “Eleanor Rigby”.

Apart from playing live at pubs and clubs across the Midlands, the band also perform at local open mics such as the Creative Factory and have been working on video performances to enable the events to continue despite Social Distancing measures required by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sean and Adrian are also the masterminds of “Lakeside Live” and annual event at Walsall Arboretum bandstand.  The free and inclusive event features a host of local bands, acoustic acts and other performers and is scheduled for the late summer bank holiday 31 August 2020.  Whilst it is impossible to say in this currently most uncertain of times whether the event will be able to take place as normal, with boutique food catering, bar and plenty of opportunity for festival style picnics, the event will be proceeding one way or another and the organisers are working hard on the necessary technology to enable a live-streamed virtual event to take place if necessary.

The band are available to hire for private gigs/birthday parties and other events (when the lockdown ends)
