Well the League One draw specialists did it again on Saturday as Walsall battled out a 1-1 draw with Stevenage in a game where they took the lead yet, not for the first time this season failed to build upon it then allow the opposition back in the game without forcing a winner. It all looked so good in the third minute when captain Andy Butler slotted home.
Emmanuel Ledesma came on for Jamie Patterson on 66 minutes and made things happen and had a couple of near misses. Stevenage's goal came from Michael Bostwick which was quite a good finish but Saddlers failed to close him down.
So Walsall now have eight games to go and badly need another win on the board starting with another home game against Colchester United which is the game in hand. Its going to be hard going but the players and fans have to believe that they can start to win games following four without.
