After being axed after 40 years in 2011, Darlaston Market has returned again this week thanks to public request.
Shoppers flocked to the long return of the market on Monday the 14th which will now run 2 days a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
As 25 stalls were already snapped up on Monday the market is set to be as popular as ever and Market Manager David Habernathy has stated:
"The locals have been asking for it for a long time, the shops all want it here and the people of Darlaston want it here. I spoke to all the traders and they have done well"
Darlaston Town Centre Partnership have worked hard in helping bring the market back!
