The first outdoor show to be held at the Bank's Stadium in 12 years has been cancelled.
The Spring Happening which was set to feature UB40 and other acts such as N-Dubz had already had its ticket prices slashed, however the promotors Unique Live Events have now called the show off. In the statement made, they blame the cancellation on 'unforeseen production issues'.
However, they have informed fans their tickets for the music event which was set to take place on May 31st will be refunded. The promotors stated that they assure fans of a 'full ticket refund within the next four weeks'.
Walsall FC themselves made a statement that 'the club is currently in the process of setting up a refund mechanism for those customers who purchased tickets for the Spring Happening through the club to ensure an efficient and timely solution'.
They also added that fans who had bought tickets from the club would be contacted within four weeks, however fans who purchased from other outlets should get in touch with those sellers.
