Following on from their brilliant 5-1 win at Notts County, Walsall had to make do with a 1-1 home draw against Swindon Town. The game was never going to live up to the away encounter at the County Ground earlier in the season where Walsall took the Robins apart in a sparkling 3-1 victory. However in this game Saddlers took the lead through Romaine Sawyers following good work by James Chambers and Craig Westcarr. Febian Brandy was proving to be difficult for Swindon to keep quiet with his all action game and Town keeper Foderingham made a good save to deny the in-form striker just before half time. Disappointingly, the visitors scored with their only decent effort of the night to give them a share of the spoils they hardly deserved. Still Walsall are sixth in the table with everything to play for.
As someone who is passionate about all thats going on in and around Walsall I hope that you find the topics I raise are informative and thought provoking.
