WALSALL PRIDE IS BACK FOR AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY
Walsall pride is an annual event to celebrate the diverse LGBT community, to dispel myths, break down barriers and promote community cohesion. The event is open to all members of the
community with no age, gender or religious restrictions and Walsall Pride is a registered Charity.
The event works closely with community groups, local businesses, and organisations to promote harmony through this celebration.
The event itself consists of a main stage, Cabaret Stage,
Dance Tent, food, stalls, and Children’s Rides; all being held in the Walsall Arboretum Extension.

Taking its place in Walsall for its 11th year on Saturday 26th August is Walsall Pride in partnership with Walsall Council and Headline Sponsor HomeServe with organiser’s promising the biggest event to date.
2023 will see pride held at the Walsall Arboretum Extension with a Main Stage, Cabaret Stage, Dance arena along with pride stalls, Children’s fair rides, Food vendors, Licenced Bars as well as local groups offering information and advice.
The Arboretum Extension hosts the main event, featuring The Saddlers Centre Main Stage.
Acts confirmed to appear include Jaymi Hensley from Union J, Katherine Ellis voice of The Freemasons, Marcella Woods, Alex Party as well as performances from Kelly Wilde, Smashby, Nate Ethan and many more throughout the day, gates will open at 11am with DJ James Ball
Warming up the event when live performances will start at 12pm until 8pm
The Poundland Cabaret Stage Hosted by The Red Lion will play host to Local and regional talent including Tanya Hyde, Topsie Redfern, Twiggy, Amy Laqueefa, Linda Matthews, Ebony Kruger and Baga Chipz from Ru Pauls Drag Race Uk will Headline the Stage.
The Dance Arena Hosted by the Lion Bar & Club will see 8 hours of music from 8 DJs including Joe Hunt, Kate Mayher from Gaydio Radio, Becki De Funk, Jade Marie, House Monkeyz, Wayne H and Martin Green

After Parties will be held at The Registry on Leicester Street with Proud as pop as part of their Popworld takeover, The Red Lion on Park Street will have more Cabaret to finish off your evening, and The Lion Bar & Club will play host to DJs till the early hours.
Sunday Pride Events will be held at both The Red Lion and The Lion Bar & Club.
