There are various locations in and around the Walsall area for parkruns, so whether you want to blow the cobwebs off ready for the weekend, or get a quick run in before your weekend shift, there will be a convienient location for you! Read on for more information.
Walsall Arboretum
The Walsall parkrun event takes place at Walsall Arboretum, The Broadway, Walsall, WS1 2QG at 9am on Saturday mornings. The Walsall Arboretum Park Run is a 3 lap clock wise loop around the Victorian area of the park and is run on tarmac paths.
The start point for the run is on the main path next to the rose garden. This point is approximately 5 minutes from the grange car park.

Sutton Park
The Sutton Park parkrun event takes place at Sutton Park, Banners Gate, Monmouth Drive, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6JX at 9am on Saturday mornings at 9am. The Sutton Park parkrun is a square shaped route run on a combination of tarmac, gravel, grass and trail paths so bare this in mind.
The start point for the run is at Banners Gate.

Wolverhampton - West Park
The Wolverhampton West Park parkrun event takes place at West park, Wolverhampton, WV1 4PN and takes place on Saturday mornings at 9am. The course for the West parkrun covers the perimeter of the park three times and then heads back towards the Tea Rooms.
The start point for the run is behind the Bandstand near the tearooms.

Wolverhampton - East Park
The Wolverhampton East Park parkrun event takes place at East Park, Hickman Avenue, Wolverhampton, WV1 2BS at 9am every Saturday morning. The course for the East Park run covers three laps of the perimeter of the park and finishes at the bandstand towards the middle of the park.
The start point for the run is near the Sutherland Road entry to the park, nearby to the bandstand and football pitch.

Chasewater
The Chasewater parkrun event takes place at Chasewater Country Park, Pool Road, Burntwood, Brownhills, WS8 7NL at 9am every Saturday morning. The course is run on a combination of tarmac and trail paths and involves a single lap around the reservoir at Chasewater Country Park.
The start point for the run is close to the car park at the Country Park, which is easily found.

Perry Hall
The Perry Hall parkrun event takes place at Perry Hall Park, Perry Avenue, Perry Barr, Birmingham, B42, 1RS at 9am every Saturday morning. The course involves 3 different mainly flat laps and is run on a mixture of gravel paths and grass.
The start point for the Perry Hall run is by the moat areas near the main gates.

There are also Junior parkrun, aimed at 4-14 year olds and are 2km timed events.
Wednesfield Junior Park Run
Wednesfield Junior parkrun takes place in Wednesfield Park, Wolverhampton, WV11 1TH and starts at 9am every Sunday morning. The course runs along a combination of tarmac paths and grassy areas. The course is fully marshalled so runners will see a marshall at all times throughout the run.
The start of the Wednesfield Junior parkrun is by the North Avenue entrance gate opposite the changing rooms.

Bloxwich Junior Park Run
Bloxwich Junior parkrun takes place at King George V Memorial Playing Fields, Stafford Road, Walsall, WS3 3NT and starts at 9am on Sunday mornings. The course runs through a mix of pathways and grass areas. The course is always marshalled so juniors will be able to see a Marshall at all times throughout the parkrun.
The start of the Bloxwich Junior parkrun is on the path near the car park.
