Not all Scrap Cars go straight to the Crusher - Some go out in a Blaze of glory as Stock Cars more commonly known as Bangers.
A gentleman named Bill Morris introduced the sport to the U.K. in the late fifties from America and since then has gone from strength to strength with tracks appearing all over the Country.
Our team the Demons race Team was started in Darlaston back in the Seventies by a group of friends at the Alladdins Lamp Public house in Wiley Avenue then run by a well known figure Mr Cyril Smith.
Over 30 years later the team still exists and still meets in Darlaston at the Staffordshire Knot in Pinfold St / Wolverhampton St ( Gitto`s place )
We race at tracks far & wide throughout the U.K
Our Team & Cars feature in the Sony Playstation game Destruction Derby Arenas / Sony sponsored us for the year the game was launched
Over the years our Cars and drivers have featured on Top Gear, The Inside Out programme, loads of Sky / Cable stuff etc etc. They have also appeared in the Max Power Arena shows alongside such names as Russ Swift the stunt driver for the Italian Job film & Gary Rothwell World Champion Bike stunt champion
