Willenhall Chart secures £2,200 to deliver half term activities during Easter. The HAF programme is for children and young people aged 5 - 16 years who are eligible for free school meals and their families to access free activities and healthy recipe boxes during the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays. On 8 November 2020, the government announced that the holiday activities and food programme would be expanded across the whole of England in 2021. The programme has provided healthy food and enriching activities to children since 2018. Willenhall Chart as provided eight different enrichment and healthy activities via zoom over the last two weeks of Easter. These have included activities such as such as Grow Your Own, Willenhall Games, Mind of Wellbeing to name just a few. Over 160 children and young people registered to take part in these activities put on by Willenhall Chart with the last one taking place on Friday.
