When it comes to foods for the eyes, carrots should be right on top of the Easter shopping list.
Vitamin A, found in carrots, helps to prevent night blindness and eye dryness called Xerophthalmia and can delay the development of cataracts and age related macular changes.
But it's not only carrots! A balanced diet including green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale are also very important for eye health as well as making sure that you get your eyes examined at least every 2 years.
Happy Easter from Kelcher Optometrists!
