Myself and my family went for a beautiful meal this evening. First time coming to this restaurant. Lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated, very clean, absolutely beautiful food, very friendly and attentive staff but my major issue is when my 19 month old daughter (sitting next to me in her high chair) was eating some food from her tray, one of the waiters came over and placed a tiny green object the size of a grape on my daughters tray. I thankfully seen the whole thing and initially thought it must be a soft sweet or something for her to eat (as she was eating her food from that tray at that very moment). I was just about to retrieve it to investigate it further before I allowed her to eat it; but before I did, she had picked it up very quickly, also thinking it was something else to eat and popped it in her mouth. Thank goodness I scraped it out of her mouth instantly, to find that it was a tiny rubber car toy!!! but literally the size of a grape!!! I was just so relieved that I’d seen this and managed to get it out of her mouth, as these things happen so so quickly and she could of easily choked on it. I could of been taking a sip of my drink and it could of easily been too late. The waiter saw I wasn’t very happy and then placed a lollipop on her tray (again not much better as another choking hazard). I didn’t make a scene at the restaurant as there were other diners, I was in utter shock and it frightened the life out of us all at the thought of what could of happened; and of course I understand he didn’t mean anything by doing that, he was trying to be kind. I am only writing it on here to make all other parents who attend the restaurant aware of this, especially if you are attending with a young baby/child. I am going to phone tomorrow just to speak with the manager about the incident, as I do think they need to be informed to not allow these toys of that tiny size to be given to babies or young children. I’m not trying to get the waiter into trouble but at the same time it is absolutely imperative that it does not happen again; as another family may not be so lucky.

We went in on Monday night after a friends recommendation, the place was heaving. Restaurant was very clean, great atmosphere, excellent food and great service. Jay looked after us, recommended some lovely dishes and also bought us a round of drinks. This place will be our new regular. Words can’t express our satisfaction, would recommend highly.

Brilliant service and food! As a family we all went to Aura Indian Restaurant for the first time and we were very surprised! We all had a selection of food, fish , chicken , lamb and vegetarian dishes all absolutely amazing, nice taste. If you are looking for excellent service and taste of indian food , this is the place for you!! They are busy so you are probably better booking a table. The service was mesmerising, Raj recommended my dish which was Kulkarni best curry ever I had!

Our first meal out since Covid began. We’d been told how clean it was, temperature taken at the door, good food etc and we were more than pleased to confirm all that. We felt very safe, spotless, excellent service, great menu, delicious food, plenty of space between tables, free round of soft drinks and a tipple at the end of our meal with chocolates. Great value. Will definitely be going there again. High recommended.

This is my second time that I have been to this restaurant and I can’t express enough how fabulous the food, staff and service was! I requested a spicy dish and Jay recommended the Spicy Railway Lamb which tasted absolutely delicious. During this moment of time, I can say the restaurant was being kept clean at all times and all members of staff were compliant with government guidleines. Jay also threw in a free drink, he really looks after his regulars and I can definitely say that this is by far the best restaurant in Aldridge.

There are quite a few curry restaurants in Aldridge this is by far the best, as soon as you walk in, the cleanliness of the place, the service from the staff is excellent and as for the food, taste, quality and value for money, you need to give it a try, advise to book as becoming very very popular, we eat there at least once every other week.

My wife ordered 3meals and asked Jay who explained each meal and even tailored a meal for her..Given a time to collect and ready, greeted and made feel welcome by Jay.Food was hot and plentiful, all food was fresh and good value.All family enjoyed their food and Madras best ever.Thankyou Jay and team and see you soon...great job fair play....
