We cannot thank Tina and the staff at the Ivy House enough for the efforts they put into into making our wedding reception wonderful. An ideal restaurant for a small , about 30 people, wedding reception. Great food and great staff.

This place was booked for a wake for my after a funeral. We received a warm welcome and it was evident that they were adhering to social distancing. We were shown to our tables. Nd we opted fir a sit down meal. Menu was extensive and an excellent choice Food was served hot and well presented and tasty. Staff were warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely recommend pity I don’t live close

Went for lunch on a Tuesday as I had been here quite a few times for drinks.
Checked the board which had a T Bone steak on it so ordered it. The weather was very hot and outside was booked so ordered two large orange and lemonade drinks. The steak could have been better quality but could not have been cooked better at medium to rare. It came with chips, mushrooms, tomato and a side salad and normally cost £22.50 but my total bill with tip was £15 with the govt offer.Service was very friendly and efficient.

Met up today with my sisters for lunch. We were amazed by the presentation and quality of the food, i have never had chips so amazing that say home cooked and they were truly home cooked beautiful they were. We all went for the scampi and chips and we were not dissapointed it was all hot freshly made and not warmed up in a microwave!! which a lot of places to eat do this. I also had a dessert which was beautiful. Will not be the last time i visit this establishment for food. Well done to you all.

We came here after Masons Bar and Grill cancelled our booking 2 hours before we were due to go.It was due to Covid but it didn't start till Monday and we had already booked 2tables!we think they had overbooked! They tried hard to get us in and had 2tables next to each other .The food and service was excellent and everyone enjoyed the food. The only thing was my sticky toffee pudd was not sticky enough and a little bit dry 🙄We will be back many thanks x

Went for meal with friend on first entering BEFORE welcoming us it was a shout to put our contact numbers on the pad provided. Yes we will do that but how about a polite hello first. The soft drinks lime and soda 1/2 pint £4 for 2 way over priced. The menu given said GF menu available but when asked they said no but most things on there can be made to be GF. Well actually that’s not so, you can’t suddenly make a normal pie made with wheat flour GF. Clearly the staff member had no idea about GF. I chose the gammon which was lovely and well presented couldn’t fault. We had coffee which was again Costa prices £5 for 2 but not costa standard. Tasted watery poor quality.
So in short, staff need to cheer up a bit ( others have put same) but meal lovely would go again
