Having visited at the this time last year we decided to return this year a week later to hopefully avoid any wet weather. Wrong! when we arrived on the Friday there was a steady deluge of water landing on the greens near the clubhouse, golf was not looking an option. after an hours delay the rain stopped and our round was under way we were led out by a team of greens staff who swept the greens and placed the pins at the driest points. Now that's dedication to your service. Everyone we came into contact with made us feel very welcome and their level of customer service is outstanding. The general feedback from our party of 35 golfers was all positive throughout our stay.

I recently visited Calderfields Golf Club for a Olly Murs & Bruno Mars tribute. It was an amazing night from the food,service,tribute and great Entertainment from the in house DJ's called midlandsprodj. Highly recommend and will be returning in the near future for one of their other events.

Our second visit proved to be as good as the first. Two nights dinner, bed & breakfast with 3 rounds. Excellent clean rooms with everything you need. Mouthwatering food served by friendly staff. Cracking course & all round great value.

A great weekend had by my son and myself we where made very welcome ,and on arrival got invited to a cabaret night on the sat night ,fantastic show and meal would recommend its a pity our golf play wasn't as good ,but getting back to our stay cabin was very comfortable every thing you want breakfast and food during our stay 1st class everyone could have not been more friendly. Highly recommend you must give it a try we will definitely be returning

The country club is very welcoming and all the staff try to look after you as much as possible.
The site is lovely and the accomodation excellent.
We all stayed in the log cabins at the side of the 18th fairway and it was very enjoyable indeed.

A friendly and welcoming venue serving good food at really good prices and there's always a vegetarian option, I'd definitely recommend this place to friends, they host different daytime and evening events during the week and at weekends. I'll be returning soon!

I visited Calderfields in August for a friends wedding and stayed in a lodge overlooking the beautiful grounds.
Very pretty and modern inside and you couldn't ask for better surroundings. The only issue I experienced was at breakfast with a not so helpful waiter who decided it was inconvenient for me to ask for something other than a full English! Service at breakfast definitely needs to be worked on but the meal at the wedding and all the other staff were faultless.
All in all, couldn't fault the grounds and the lodge itself especially for the price, just a few issues on service that need to be addressed.

Lovely location with excellent views. Visited Mothers Day and was impressed with the fantastic Sunday carvery. Why go to Toby carvery when you can do it in style - with more choice and better quality!

Went here for a family meal . Carvery on a Sunday ,carverys can often be a let down but this was pretty decent . Staff were good and were tolerant with two toddlers and gave them a free dessert . Not bad for price. Not intimate or cosy but great for a lot of people or work parties . However they were advertising Christmas which was a bit of a shock . It's may !!!
