Sent afternoon tea to my daughter and son inlaw and to my son and daughter inlaw. They were amazed at the beautiful presentation that they came in. I will be having a lot more from here the food looks amazing. Never knew this place existed but one things for sure when they open up again i will definately be a new regular. This was the quietest it had ever been when enjoying afternoon tea with my friend from work. Only another couple of people in all afternoon, not good for the business.<br>We have visited this cafe many times, sometimes the cakes are home made so it depends on how many teas they're serving,I guess. The tea has changed over the years a bit like the size of chocolate bars!!! Service is always good,all staff are friendly.

What a fabulous little place. Steeped in history and wartime ornaments. The sandwiches and cakes are delicious and to be honest, I doubt I'll be booking afternoon tea at well named restaurants again as they simply can't compete with this lovely place which also has a fantastic selection of gins!

I wanted a special treat for my sister's birthday and we found it at Pigeons Parlour. A really superb tea room hidden away not far from where I live all decked out in the 1940's. While we waited for our tea it was lovely to look around the room and spot things we remembered from our childhood and the three of us indulged in an afternoon of reminiscing. The afternoon tea was plentiful with delicious sandwiches, scones and a selection of cake and a trifle which tasted just like the Bird's trifle mum used to make us. The ladies who served us were lovely, so nice to have a smiley face and time for a quick chat even though they were busy. A wonderful experience and we shall be back. Thank you for making the day so special.
