Visited for the first time in a while for the wife's birthday. Would definitely return again! Friendly staff, excellent choice of food and well priced. The food was obviously cooked to order and neither of us had any complaints. Would like to try the punjabi menu next time which looked good.

Haven't visited Ivy House for many years but thought would give it a try.
Restaurant was lovely but staff definitely let it down, from saying no beer! to saying I'll give you 5 minutes to choose food! Didn't know pie of the day! And just being rudely inpolite as if it was too much trouble for them! May come back for a drink but not food...

Ordered the "Crispy belly pork", not impressed with the meal. Small portion of meat with "mashed potato ( tasted and looked like instant mash from the 70's) , the tasteless, watery gravy. £13.95 is vastly over priced in my opinion. The refurb and staff are both good.

Booked for 23 family and friends to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday, had the Sunday roast and it was all served quickly, efficiently and most of all hot ! Accompanied with sides of veg and extra gravy. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we would like to thank the staff for their hospitality. Special mention to Sam for taking time to go through the pre ordering of the meals and organising everything. Thank you from a very happy customer.

What a welcoming pub!! Staff are excellent they are so friendly and welcoming food was excellent best burger I’ve had for such a long time. Can’t wait to come back to try the Indian food. Would like to mention Sam who is such a bright spark.

Eaten here twice recently and I can't fault anything. The food is very ,very good. Staff are all friendly and helpful and the whole experience was fun. Definitely gonna be a regular.

This was my third visit to the Ivy House this evening. Previous visits have been very nice.
I ordered the New Jersey chicken which I’ve had before.Unfortunately the chips didn’t appear freshly cooked and I could taste the oil on them which tasted like the oil needed changing in the frier!
The coleslaw was just mush.When the very young waitress asked me if I enjoyed my meal I explained how I was disappointed with the chips and my reasons, she just smiled and said “oh” 🤷🏻♀️
Obviously she didn’t inform the manager as no staff member approached us.We paid the bill and left but I won’t be in a rush to return

Booked a Saturday night table at short notice and headed in for dinner,a huge gin range for herself and excellent ale on hand pull kept me happy. We went with the Indian menu and it was great, starters and mains
came quickly , piping hot and very good. Staff were really on
point for drinks etc despite being quite busy. Special shout out to our Server India who looked after us.

5 star to waiting staff. Lady with long braided hair very friendly! Asset to company. 1 Star for food. Very average! Both dishes very dry!
