Have had a lovely time at The New Art Gallery.
Never been before and I am definitely not regreting the time we have spent there.
We have seen plenty of beautiful art pieces, however ...in my very personal opinion, and I really don't want to offend anyone, the exhibition which was today on the very top floor....🤦‍♀️ Sorry, but this I would never call "an art".

Really random pieces of anything you will find in garbage bin, putting together, with no shape, no emotion, no story to be told... even hard to describe, as these "art" pieces didn't make any sense at all.
The easiest to describe is... possibly a toy revolver, sprayed all-round in pink...
(I am regreting now I didn't want to take any pictures of this exhibition 🤷‍♀️, just to show you )

People do go to galleries and museums to see art pieces which has been made centuries and millenniums ago and yet we still looking at them speachless and fascinated by the absolute beauty , precious make etc, but what are we going to leave for next generations in hundreds/ thousands years ahead ???
Pink sprayed toy revolver? Or many other shapeless, senseless "new art" pieces, impossible to describe or guess the idea behind it , or the purpose of this ?

World Class. I absolutely loved it. I'm not a massive modern art fan. Wonderful atmosphere. Everything seemed to fit together well with the connections between all the artists and the collections.

Staff are just lovely. They're not too much. They really care. I much prefer this to the Tate Modern which I could never really see the point of. Just a tick list of must have one of each of the big names.

Walsall you have a lot to be proud of here. It was a real education. Lovely shop attached with great pricing (encouraging us to buy more as opposed to nothing at all most places). Can't say the Costa Coffee lured me in 😬

We're definitely going back on the next rotation. I bought catalogues here for exhibitions I'd seen in Madrid but didn't buy there. Thank you all so much. We enjoyed exploring Walsall

Used their conference room for a meeting and also ordered lunch. Was very impressed with the service of the gallery staff and the Costa staff.

Been here often when they have events on and it's don't disappoint alot of families turn up for arts and craft, on the eid events they even have free henna for the kids. Even though I'm not much of an art guy I still walk around everytime I'm there and it's clean and quite and some of that art works is amazing.

It is a lovely building, despite the weird way they have tried to make it look.
Massive rooms inside. Lots of wood.
Some good displays, also lots of temporary ones, which I found a bit disappointing to be honest.
Good views of Walsall from the upper floors. I don't think they open the outside areas anymore.
Free to enter.
