I arrived 5 minutes early for my check-up at 3.15pm on Thursday, 14th February. I also had a 4pm appointment elsewhere. 25 minutes later, I still hadn't been called in to see my dentist. I told the receptionist that I couldn't wait any longer. She told me that just prior to my arrival, a patient with an emergency came in & that was why my appointment had been delayed. The receptionist kindly changed my appointment to Monday at 2pm & assured me that as my appointment was the first after lunch, I would be first to be seen by my dentist. I went yesterday for my 2pm appointment & true to their word, I was the first to be seen after lunch. No one can help it if an emergency patient turns up, so although I needed to change my appointment, it couldn't have been handled, any better.
