We have just returned from a fantastic golf break at Calderfields Golf & Country Club. The course and food were first class and we loved our cabin overlooking the 18th green, but for all of us it was the attitude and service we received from the staff that made it exceptional. We would definitely return to sample such great hospitality and would highly recommend Calederfields to everyone!

Celebrated Stanley's 60th birthday with family and friends. Stayed at the cabins overlooking the golf course, played from dawn to dusk and enjoyed the great service. Cheerful and accomodating staff, manager Nelson is great. Will recommend stay-and-play at Calderfields.

We had a table for 8 diners and had the carvery set menu.
The service was excellent, the food very good and surrounding were very clean and comfortable.
The one thing that I especially enjoyed was the fact that there was no hassle - you were able to enjoy your meal and after meal drinks at your own pace, with no one asking you to move on!
Will definately visit again.

The staff were as professional as they were friendly and helpul. General Manager Richard Devine has bonded a super team. The well maintained course enjoys the attentions of a team led by a scratch golfer and presents a varied and enjoyable challenge. We enjoyed the view from our cabin, overlooking the 18th fairway and the fact that it was only a short walk from the restaurant and bar at the end of the evening. I have been on many golf trips, but this venue takes some beating. Ducky

Myself and 15 colleagues from my local golf club have just returned from a three day fantastic golf break at Calderfields Golf & Country Club. The course is a testing but enjoyable par 73 parkland course, which has many interesting holes. Accommodation was provided in well-appointed timber cabins overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. Meals were served in the Lakeside Restaurant and the food was delicious All staff were courteous and very friendly and the service received from them was exceptional. A special thanks to the members of Caulderfields senior section, for mustering a sixteen man team to play a team match against our contingent on our second day (unfortunately we lost). We would definitely return to sample such great hospitality again and we have no hesitation in highly recommend Calderfields Golf and Country Club to everyone!

I have just returned home to Dukinfield in Cheshire from a remarkable three day golf break at Calderfields Golf and Country Club. From the moment you arrive there you feel that the etos by all staff is for you to enjoy your stay with them. The club house is very relaxing serving good food, beer and wine. The accommodation if very comfortable with really good views onto the golf course The golf course a par 73,and 6400yds is excellent and a fair challange for all golfers. I have travelled on many golf breaks over the past forty years at home and abroad and I can honestly say this has been as good as it gets. Well done to Calderfields.

My friends and I had a lovely, delicious and generous sized meal last night. The atmosphere was great, the table was great and the staff extremely professional and friendly. Definitely recommend and will return again! Thank you!

My wife & I, plus 2 other couples, have just returned from a weekend break at Calderfields. (Nov 15/17)
It was recommended by YourGolf Travel.
What a great venue, staff very friendly, rooms large and spacious, excellent bathroom with large shower area. Only complaint was the lighting was a little dull and it was difficult to read inside the room.
Although the menu was not extensive it was all very well cooked and presented, and perfectly acceptable. The full English breakfast was excellent and would set anyone for the day.
The course was far better than we expected, quite tight in places, requiring accurate tee shots, While it was a little damp in places (not surprising after all the rain over the last few weeks). The greens were amazing for the time of the year.
Our group had a wonderful weekend and will be definitely returning in the near future,

My husband, his mother and I visited the restaurant at the Calderfields Golf and Country Club over the weekend.
I would like to comment on the wonderful selection of food available on their menu, with a very good selection of vegetarian dishes, which makes a present change from the normal vegetarian dishes on offer at other restaurants.
The setting was very clean and comfortable, the service and the politeness of all the staff was delightful. When our starters arrived my husband commented that it was possibly the best selection of starters he had ever seen.
Finally when our main meals arrived at the table all I can say it was a delight to the eye and the stomach and there was plenty too. We would most definitely recommend Calderfields to our friends and family and will be returning in the very near future.

It was a very cold afternoon when my husband and I visited Calderfields and were very pleasantly supprised by the warmth of the log cabin. The room was simply furnished, the beds comfortable and the shower room large and spacious. The heated towel rail for the bathroom is placed above the door a bit difficult to get to.
We had breakfast in a really nice dinning room overlooking the golf course, it was really good value £3.50 each and was very well presented.
Noticed while we were there that they had an offer for overnight stay + 4 course evening meal for £65 each, bargain.
We will certainly visit again.
