Couple of months back we had a menu dropped so we thought we give it a try knowing that it was our local so I went down to pick up a take away,I ordered what I had to including there special "KING SAMOSAS".... The only difficulty I had was I couldn't get the waiter to understand what I wanted even tho it was on there menu,all I wanted was the dish to be hotter than how it comes but the waiter said the chef won't be able to do that only because it's not on the menu!! How funny was that!! I do think tho if the waiter understood a bit of our English language this place would've been much better,food I will say was great even if it meant that I couldn't get what I wanted,sorry to say I won't be ordering there any time soon but if I have no where to go then probably will!!

I been to many curry houses in the Midlands and il have to say this is far out the best I've been to.. Food is fresh and very nice and for the price it's perfect and you will not leave this curry house hungry.. And if you dont finish it you can take it home with you.. Lol forget all the negative feedback on here it's a load of rubbish.. Best place to come to..!!!

Went for a birthday meal. Once again had a lovely meal. Can't fault it. Bargain at £10 per head. Took my own soft drinks too. Chicken jalfrezi king size samosa absolutely gorgeous, a must try.. Thanks again Kirans for a lovely meal and birthday decor. See you soon.

Myself and my partner, are regular visitors to Kirans along with my partners family. The staff are extremely friendly and work very hard to ensure they provide a good, quality service. We often visit the green dragon pub over the road before eating here. The staff will happily store our alcohol for us until we arrive.
The food is extremely tasty and fantastically priced making it affordable for all budgets. The masala chips are the best I have tasted and recommend the mixed grill and the chicken jalfrezi.
We will always continue to use Kirans and always have a great night. A must visit !!!

Last Saturday was the second time we've used this place after the first one which was ok,I will say this time that the delivery we had was the best by miles we've had from in around DARLASTON .... KING SAMOSAZ..... You can't beat they r the best and I think only they do it as I've been to many but never noticed on menus,thanks for a wonderful meal guys and wish u the very best for 2015.... I had a great evening out with my family 7 of us went without making a booking we got a table straight away and did not have to wait. It was a very friendly environment even the children were very relaxed the new decoration was very nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and desert was mind blowing great compliments to the chef.

We just had a take away delivered from kirans in DARLASTON and we r al still licking our plates! Great food n service,delivered within 45 minutes as they said!

Hadn't eaten for a long time. Received a call from a friend who said they were in a similar situation so we made a trip to Kiran's.
Often used this place for take aways but never eaten in. Whenever I had though I noticed often large boisterous parties often with kids in tow.
This was no exception. It was fine for us but if you want a romantic evening with a partner then somewhere that would allow for a little more discretion or intimacy may be better.
However the menu is extensive. The service sometimes has to be prompted but the food is decent enough. The portion sizes are great and the price is really low. Oh and I know that for some it's really important but the most recent fitting out didn't make it as far as the bathrooms.
If you fancy an alcoholic drink you have take your own. With a supermarket nearby this is easy enough but if you'd like your stuff chilled then I'd advise taking stuff from the fridge, asking for ice was a repetitive process.
Fine dining it ain't but it has not the pretence to be. And that's just fine by me. I would and will return. As seemingly would the many others visiting.
