Visited last night as a very large party, despite this the waiting staff were very efficient in taking orders.Large trays of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and bread were put out on the tables free of charge while we were waiting for starters. Portion sizes were good and the kitchen is visible so you can see your food being cooked. I do have a little comment about my dish...I ordered vegetarian penne...which was packed full of fresh vegetables and cooked beautifully but it wasnt Italian. The flavour was distinctly chinese..soy sauce and five spice powder , not unpleasant by any means but I wouldve expected tomato, garlic , basil and parmesan. The garlic bread which is pizza dough in style didnt taste of garlic at all. This is why Ive only rated this restaurant "very good" and not excellent. Service was good, price was good, food was good but not traditional Italian I feel, more of an Italian/asian fusion.

Me and my other half had a fantastic experience here. Layout very deceiving from outside as once your inside your presented with a spacious open plan Italian esque eatery!
Front of house staff more than accommodating especially one young woman Josephine who made our visit a memorable one.
Definitely worth a visit as the homemade food has a great quality and value for money balance!!
Will be visiting again soon!!

Had 3 courses lastnight and the food is to die for, however the service was awful! It seemed to me that they were under staffed because of how long it took to get a drink or for our order to be taken the Staff they did have were slow, clueless and distracted

We dropped in for a quick Sunday lunch. The Sunday meal deal looks like very good value but we didn't try it on this occasion. It's a rather strange venue because the restaurant is upstairs but the toilets are downstairs. However, it is smart, modern and comfortable. The service was good and the food was well-cooked and tasty. My pasta dish and my sister's Caesar salad were above average but not particularly special. We didn't have any further course, just coffee. Food and drink was reasonable and overall it was an above average experience. I would recommend trying the 3 course special deals as they look as if they are good value.

The work carried out was to a high standard. The installers did a very good job and left the work area tidy each day.

Menue adequate and 4 of us ordered different starters and main courses. My meal was well presented and I enjoyed the experience.
Relatives we were with also commented on their food as being delicious .

All in all good place to eat

Had a really pleasant last minute family dinner for 11 of us. I was surprised at the Sunday menu for £9.95 which was fantastic value for 3 courses. Food was delicious & the service was very good too! I have been too many good but over-priced Italian restaurants and this food was much better. £150 for 11 of us with 2 rounds of drinks. Fabulous !!

This restaurant has a great location right in the centre of Aldridge; it is also excellent value for money. Until 5 o'clock on weekdays there is an offer menu from which you can choose either one, two or three courses. There is a good choice of dishes and we have never had a meal we haven't enjoyed. There are also mid- week specials with wine; again excellent value. It is unusual to find a chateaubriand in a restaurant with such reasonable prices and here it is indeed on offer and very good value.
The staff are very friendly and efficient and I have only two criticisms of the place: firstly the extractors in open-plan kitchen do not always clear the cooking smells and secondly they can be a little mean with the vegetables.
This "Italian" is owned and run by people of Asian origin which makes it a little quirky but not more quirky than the other "Italian" restaurant in Aldridge which is run by English staff. We once made the mistake of trying to order in Italian and they were quite nonplussed.
Wonderful value!
